Growing the right way

CyberCure has been named on the 2026 Deloitte Fast 50 index, which ranks New Zealand's fastest-growing businesses on three years of verified revenue growth.

The Fast 50 measures how fast a business has grown. For a consultancy, the more useful question is whether that growth has been good for clients. Here's how we've approached it.

Growth we chose

We launched in Wellington in 2022 to provide independent, senior cybersecurity advice that solves practical problems. We've grown by being selective: taking on work where we can add real value, and building depth in the sectors we know well rather than chasing volume.

Funded from our own earnings

We've grown without outside capital. That keeps us independent, and it means we've had to stay profitable as we grew. Every hire and every new service has had to pay its way.

Reinvested in people and services

We've put our earnings back into the things clients feel directly:

  • Senior people. We've grown from 4 to 17 consultants, hiring experienced practitioners rather than building a junior-heavy pyramid.

  • Capability. We have invested in partnerships and the development of new services and new ways to create value for our clients.

  • Staying sharp. We provide resources and time to allow our people to remain current whilst creating a culture of collective success

The same model, at greater scale

Clients still work directly with senior specialists across four areas:

  • Trusted Advisor: experienced security leadership for boards and executive teams

  • Governance & Risk: turning standards and regulations into clear, business-aligned strateg response

  • Transform & Operate: designing and implementing controls across cloud, identity and incident

  • Assurance: objective evaluation against NZISM, ISO 27001, PSR and NIST CSF

Thank you to our clients

Around 87% of our revenue comes from clients who have extended their work with us. That's the number we're proudest of. Thank you to our clients across the public sector, energy, education, financial and legal services for trusting us.

We'll keep reinvesting in senior capability so that as we grow, the advice you get only gets better.

Ngā mihi nui,
